Become a Local Stylist Trainer with this 5-day intensive train-the-trainer style class. This course covers how to successfully facilitate new stylist training in your salon and prepare the stylist for certification. This course is held in person at the Texas Training Center in Southlake, TX.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Local Stylist Trainer (LST) course is an intensive 5-day training program that will provide the attendees with all the skills they’ll need and prep them for certification to become a Local Stylist Trainer. They will learn how to train new lash stylists on the proprietary services we offer at TLL, how to prepare for and conduct stylist training and understand adult learning styles. During this LST course, the Corporate Trainer covers one portion of each service at a time with the class to ensure maximum absorption. Each attendee will be expected to present and teach the same information in a group setting. The program focuses on a candidate’s ability to relate and correctly direct information to a group of new stylists. This includes the correct use of visual aids, catering to multiple learning styles, and presenting information in such a way that a new stylist can learn no matter their skill level.

Practice models are provided during the 5-day course to ensure a trainer is meeting/exceeding company expectations for the application process. While performing the application, an LST candidate is required to teach each service satisfactorily as well as coach on the importance of upgrades and add-on services

REQUIREMENTS:
All attendees must have completed Stylist Training, be certified in all TLL services, must hold the current license requirements to perform lash extensions in their state, and either have 1 year of previous lashing experience or have worked at The Lash Lounge for at least 6 months.
